Terms and Conditions for Mental Health and Career Coaching Services

1. Definitions

1.1 “CCO” (CareerCoaching.Online): Refers to the Supplier of Services, encompassing its brands, subcontractors, partners, and additional suppliers.

1.2 “You”/”Client”: Refers to the individual or organization purchasing or receiving services.

1.3 “Services”: Includes life coaching, career coaching, wellbeing counselling, and any related written or verbal materials.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Nature of Services:

  • Focuses on personal and professional development, including stress management, career transitions, and work-life balance.
  • Includes personal branding services like CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and cover letters.
  • Coaching is not a substitute for legal, financial, or mental health advice.

2.2 Coaching Relationship:

  • A collaborative process focused on agreed-upon goals.
  • Responsibility for outcomes lies with the Client.

2.3 Client Responsibilities:

  • Ensure punctuality and active participation during sessions.
  • Prepare any pre-session materials or complete assigned tasks as agreed with the coach.
  • Notify the coach promptly of any changes to scheduled sessions.

3. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

3.1 Non-Therapeutic Nature:

  • Coaching does not constitute mental health treatment or diagnosis.
  • Clients requiring mental health support should consult licensed professionals.

3.2 Limitation of Liability:

  • CCO is not liable for any damages arising from coaching services.
  • Recommendations provided are for informational purposes only.

4. Confidentiality

4.1 Commitment to Confidentiality:

  • Information shared is confidential unless required by law or consented by the Client.

4.2 Limits of Confidentiality:

  • While precautions are taken, electronic communication is not completely secure.

4.3 Emergency Contact Clause:

  • If a client exhibits signs of distress or raises concerns about safety during sessions, we may recommend contacting an emergency service or mental health professional.

5. Data Protection and Privacy

5.1 Compliance:

  • CCO complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
  • Data is collected only for service delivery and record-keeping.

5.2 Client Rights:

  • Clients may request access, updates, or deletion of personal data.

5.3 Retention and Security:

  • Data is stored securely and retained as required by law.

5.4 Accessibility:

  • CCO strives to ensure that services and materials are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you require accommodations, please inform us before your session.
  • Services may be offered in multiple languages based on client preference and availability.

6. Coaching Format

6.1 Session Options:

  • Sessions may be conducted in person, via video conferencing, or phone.

6.2 Technical Issues:

  • Disruptions due to technical issues will result in rescheduling at no extra cost.

7. Fees and Payment

7.1 Session Fees:

  • Fees are charged per session/package and must be paid in GBP.

7.2 Payment Terms:

  • Payment is due before the session date.

7.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling:

  • Client cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee.
  • CCO will reschedule sessions disrupted due to technical issues.

7.4 Refund Policy:

  • Refunds are at CCO’s discretion and apply only to unused sessions.
  • Refunds for pre-paid packages are possible if the cancellation is made within seven business days before the first session.
  • Refunds are not offered for completed sessions.

7.5 Feedback Mechanism:

  • Clients are encouraged to share feedback about their experiences via email. Complaints or concerns will be addressed within 7 business days.

8. Termination of Services

8.1 Client Termination:

  • Clients may terminate services at any time. Refunds for unused sessions align with the cancellation policy.

8.2 Provider Termination:

  • CCO may terminate services for conflicts of interest or non-payment.

9. Amendments to Terms

  • CCO reserves the right to amend these terms. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

11. Entire Agreement

  • This document represents the full agreement between CCO and the Client.
